A burst of excitement filled the air at Buffalo Ridge Elementary during a recent school assembly, where Resort 2 Kindness brought a touch of magic to the students. Engaging in playful banter, our founder, Elva Pellouchoud, asked the kids about their best friends, delving into the reasons that make these connections special.

Picture this: the colorful Buddy Bench, featuring the emblematic Silver Fox, creating a vibrant focal point in the heart of the school. Elva shared the tale of the Silver Fox, honoring the memory of her father that symbolizes the spirit of friendship and kindness.

To bring the concept to life, Elva invited Palmer, an R2K Kindness Ambassador, to join us on the Buddy Bench. As Palmer and Elva engaged in conversation, we showcased how this bench becomes the hub of connections on the playground. "What games do you want to play?" Elva asked. "What's your favorite thing to do on the playground?" - encouraging dialogue that sparks friendships.
